Math
Students should complete textbook practices on paper. Title the paper, put name on the top, and have students complete all problems. File in the math section of the campus binder.

Reading Your student should have an independent read classical book for Monday. One narration per week is to be completed at home. and turned in on Monday morning. The point system grade will start at this time. The explanation of the point system is self explanatory on the form. Please grade the narration when completed. Keep reviewing division, lengths in yards, feet, inches, ounces, pounds, gallons, quarts, pints,cups and word problems. Wednesday we will start on 'Geometry'. 'Time' seemed to go very well!

Composition
The rough drafts are being checked and corrected. It is ideal for students to do an oral retelling on Tuesdays with their word outlines, once or twice. It was suggested to them that they do this with a sibling, stuffed animal or a pet. The students should be looking at their corrected rough draft in order to write their final draft with very minimal mistakes. Now that our students have been diligently learning cursive and practicing for a year and a half, they have the ability to write their final draft (only), in cursive. The students will be sent home with a copy of the checklist to attach to their final draft. The order when it is turned in should be checklist, final draft and then the rough draft. This is to help ensure that all the expectations are being met. The final draft should be free of misspelled words, fragment sentences and other errors. In the future if the final draft has a lot of errors in the paper, that were corrected on the rough draft and and not corrected on the final draft, they will be asked to rewrite the paper and turn it back in. 5 points will be taken off for each class day that they are late.
